" For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me." {Matthew 25:35-36}
Jesus loves you
Welcome
Welcome, to the House of New Beginnings. A christian transitional home in Richmond Virginia helping newly released men reintergrate back into normal lives, their families, their church families and the community. We hope that our website highlights the overarching goals of this mnistry.
Please feel free to read more about this ministry on this site, contact us or come in for a visit. We would love to greet you and share with you our love for Jesus Christ and for you, our neighbor.
Our Mission
To provide recently released Christian men from prison with the tools to productively re-enter society. Through our spiritually based Re-entry/Aftercare Program, we aim to reconnect each man to his family, church, and educate him in the value of becoming a positive contributor in his community. Through works of charity and opening our hearts to listen and love, we feel that we are walking in the footsteps of Jesus Christ and setting the captives free.
Setting the Captives Free

"He who the Son sets free, is free indeed."
Providing Bible Life Skills Training, Community Partnerships, Job Referrals, Community Services, Family Reunification, Counseling and Mentorship.
